Bourjois Blush.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you've been well and making sure that winter hasn't been getting you down!

I have been searching for a good, drugstore blush in Australia for ages now and haven't really managed to find one I've really enjoyed. So when I stumbled across the Bourjois section of Priceline the other day I was completely excited to try their blushes.

I picked up the blush in the colour Rose Pompon & another in Rose D'or (which I unfortunately broke before I could photograph - apologies).

I am incredibly disappointed with the colour payoff of these blushes. They retail for about $20 AUD but I honestly feel like I've gotten more colour pay off for blushes half that price. For the Rose Pompon, it feels like you would have to rub the blush directly onto your face to get quick and bold results, which is definitely not something one should have to do when it comes to blush application. The Rose D'Or was certainly better, but not by a huge margin.

I do really like the colours and that is what drew me to them in the first place. Rose Pompon is a gorgeous peach shade and the rose D'or is a beautiful shimmery pink. I loved the swatches in store of these products so I was quite surprised with how difficult they were to apply with a brush.

Overall I probably wouldn't repurchase these again, but I'm still on the hunt for a good drugstore blush in Australia that will become a regular in my makeup bag. If you have any suggestions please feel free to leave them in the comments below! I'd also love to know what Bourjois products you really love so I can test out a few more.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

- Janelle.
